Triune Mind

People are greatly influenced by the things that have happened to them throughout their lifetime. Often we subconsciously allow our past mistakes, incompletions and even our successes to get in the way of creation and accomplishment of goals. We are not always aware how much impact our past has on our present and future, especially when it comes to accomplishing goals and being successful. But once you’re detached from these past negative conditionings and beliefs, you can build a new connection with positive supportive thoughts that help you live your life the way YOU want.

Many people use different clearing techniques to detach from negative conditioning and to pave their way to success. Hypnotherapy is one such technique that helps you to break free from limiting beliefs that are rooted deep into your subconscious mind. And how do you know that the failure you are experiencing with setting and accomplishing goals is coming from those deeply rooted limiting beliefs and negative conditioning? You’ll know that THAT is true for you if you find yourself bumping up against the same old behavior patterns and habits, confronting the same old thorny issues as you work your way up to achieve your goals! All you have to do is you have to listen to yourself as your do the self-talk, rather the self-punching, and catch hold of these signs:

Oh no! Not again!

What was I thinking?

Why even try?

Ugh! This is so frustrating!

I am not getting any better at this!

There’s no way it will work!

I always mess it up!

I knew I’d get stuck here!

I’m so stupid!

How Hypnotherapy works is, once these signs have been identified, the next step is to go directly to the subconscious mind using several Hypnosis techniques, get to the root and detach from these negative conditionings, replace it with ideas of success and accomplishment, get in touch with our ability to get what we want, make our positives more powerful and allow the conscious mind to act with that power.

And now, let’s see how that happens.

The three levels of consciousness is called Triune Mind. At the Upper most level there is the conscious mind. It is the analytical, reasoning, logical mind. This is where all our five senses are… touch, smell, sound, taste and sight. The conscious mind first analyses and inspects any new information, idea or suggestion before accepting it.

After this conscious mind, there is the subconscious mind. This is where the memories are stored, this is where the emotions are stored and the beliefs are stored. Subconscious mind does not distinguish between fact and fantasy. It is also called the creative intelligence and THIS is what you character is all about.

And then there is the critical factor which develops by the age ten and works like a gatekeeper or checkpoint to the subconscious. Located between the conscious and the subconscious mind, it compares the incoming idea, suggestion or information coming from the conscious mind with the already existing ideas or beliefs of the subconscious mind and decides if it matches with the recognized information of the subconscious mind, or if it should be sent back to the conscious mind for further inspection.

And now at the center of consciousness, is the superconscious mind. This is referred to as the problem solving intelligence. All that the superconscious knows and has is love, grace, forgiveness, ability to heal, peace, intuition, and creativity. This connects us to the universal mind, the universal power, the spiritual source or, in other words, God. This is our soul.

People often ask me “what is mind? Where is it located? Is it in the brain? Is it different from the brain? In what part of the body does it exist?” My question to them is “what is existence? Where is it located? Is it in this world? Is it separate from the world? In what part of earth does it exist?” Just as ‘existence’ is not merely limited to earth, the ‘mind’ is not limited to the physical body.

So… what happens when we are in hypnosis? During hypnosis, the critical factor of the mind relaxes because of which direct communication between the conscious and the subconscious mind is established. This direct communication allows for positive and beneficial ideas, information and suggestions to be easily accepted and acted upon by the subconscious mind without being constantly bounced back to the conscious mind by the critical faculty. That information gets stored in the subconscious mind as a new belief since; the subconscious mind does not differentiate between fact and fiction.

महन्त परमानन्द जी अपनी बेटी प्रिया के लिए उपयुक्त वर की तलाश में थे | मदन प्रिय की पसन्द जानता था | एक बार माँ को इशारा भी किया, पर माँ ने चुप करा दिया था | आख़िर उसने प्रिय को हिम्मत बँधाई और उसने दबी ज़ुबान में माँ से अपने दिल की बात कहने की कोशिश की | पर माँ तो ख़ुद महन्त जी से डरती थी | सो अपना सारा दुःख, कुछ न कर पाने का सारा अफ़सोस गुस्से के रूप में प्रिया पर ही उतारा “अक्ल तो नहीं मारी गई तुम्हारी ? शर्म नहीं आती ऐसी बातें करते ? कुल की सारी मान मर्यादा उठाकर ताक पर रख दी ? अरे भले घर की लड़कियों को क्या ये सब शोभा देता है ? हम भी कभी तुम्हारी उम्र के थे… जहाँ माँ बाप ने बाँधा बंध गए… तुम पर ही निराली जवानी नहीं आई है… जानती हूँ सब उस अलका की संगत का असर है…”

“अलका को बीच में क्यों लाती हैं माँ ? अगर हम लोग भले घर के हैं तो उन्हें आपने क्या समझा है ? वे लोग भी हमसे कुछ कम नहीं…”

“मैं किसी बहस में नहीं पड़ना चाहती | विवाह तुम्हारा वहीं होगा जहाँ तुम्हारे पिताजी कहेंगे | अरे क्या माँ बाप अपने बच्चे का बुरा चाहते हैं ? क्या इसी दिन के लिए तुम्हें इतना पढ़ाया लिखाया था ? अच्छा होता अगर बारहवीं के बाद ही तुम्हारी शादी कर देते | पर तुम्हारे पिताजी की ज़िद थी – नहीं मेरी बेटी तो लाखों में एक है – पहले ख़ूब पढ़ाना है – उसके बाद शादी की बात करेंगे…”

“अगर हम लोगों को अपनी ज़िन्दगी के अहम फैसले भी अपनी मर्ज़ी से करने का अधिकार नहीं तो ऐसी पढ़ाई लिखाई से क्या लाभ ? अनपढ़ रहती तो कम से कम अपने दिल की आवाज़ तो न सुन पाती…” प्रिया की आँखों से मोटी मोटी आँसुओं की बूँदें गिरनी शुरू हो गई थीं | माँ ने देख लिया था, पर कुछ कर नहीं सकती थीं इसलिए बोलती रहीं “तो क्या पढ़ाई लिखाई कराई जाती है घरवालों की नाक कटाने के लिए ? घरवालों की सारी प्रतिष्ठा धूल में मिलाने के लिए ? तुम्हारे पिताजी लोगों को उपदेश देते हैं कि चाहे जो हो जाए, अपने संस्कार नहीं छोड़ने चाहियें, विनम्रता नहीं छोड़नी चाहिए | कभी सोचा है कि उनके अपने बच्चे अगर मनमानी करने लगेंगे तो लोग क्या कहेंगे ? यही न कि महन्त से अपना घर तो संभाला नही जाता और चला है दुनिया को उपदेश देने ? देखो एक बार कह दिया सो कह दिया, अब इस विषय पर और बहस नहीं चाहिए | पिताजी ने सुन लिया तो जीना मुश्किल हो जाएगा | अपने कमरे में जाकर तैयार हो जाओ, आज लड़के वाले तुम्हें देखने आ रहे हैं | अब कोई और नाटक नहीं होना चाहिए…”

माँ का इतना लम्बा भाषण सुनने के बाद अब प्रिया के पास और कोई रास्ता न बचा था | अपना मन मसोस कर पिता के बताए लड़के के साथ ब्याह के लिए तैयार हो गई | महन्त सर्वानन्द जी का बेटा था विनोद | महन्त जी तो रहे नहीं थे | परमानन्द जी ने सोचा ये ब्याह हो जाए तो दोनों अखाड़े एक हो जाएँगे | ख़ूब धूम धाम से ब्याह हुआ | सुहागरात को ही पता चल गया प्रिया को कि उसका ब्याह न होने के बराबर है | पति हद दर्ज़े शराबी, नपुंसक होते हुए भी औरतबाज़ और आपराधिक पृष्ठभूमि का व्यक्ति था | पर उसके भाई सुरेन्द्र की तो जैसे लाटरी लग गई | पीने को जीजा जी के साथ मुफ़्त की शराब, मन बहलाने को औरतें…

शादी के बाद फेरा डालने आई तो माँ उसका हाल देखकर सब समझ गई थी | पर वो बेचारी बेज़ुबान गाय कर ही क्या सकती थी ? महन्त जी से बात की तो बोले “हमें अपनी बेटी पर पूरा भरोसा है कि वो अपने पति को सुधार लेगी | रही दूसरी बात, तो क्या हुआ ? इतने अनाथ बच्चे हैं | किसी अच्छे से ख़ानदान का कोई अनाथ बच्चा गोद दिलवा देंगे | तुम चिन्ता मत करो, बस ख़ुशी ख़ुशी बेटी की विदाई का प्रबन्ध करो | और देखो कल विनोद आ रहा है प्रिया को विदा कराने, साथ में हो सकता है समधन जी भी हों | दोनों में से किसी को भी इस बात की भनक नहीं लगनी चाहिए कि हम लोग इस विषय में जानते हैं…” आदेश देकर महन्त जी लग गए अपने आश्रम के कामों में | गद्दी की चिन्ता थी उन्हें | सोचने लगे सुरेन्द्र ठीक रहेगा, पर एक तो उसकी छवि अच्छी नहीं है दूसरे मदन से छोटा है | रहा मदन, असली वारिस तो वही है | पर वो तो इस लायक़ ही नहीं | उसका तो बस कैमरा भला या फिर कैनवास या फिर वो मैगज़ीन – क्या नाम है उसका – हाँ – टुडेज़ यूथ – वाह क्या नाम है – जैसे ये कुछ लोग मिलकर ही समाज को सही रास्ता दिखाएँगे ? हमारे जीते जी गद्दी का कुछ फैसला हो जाता तो शान्ति से स्वर्ग सिधार जाते |

कई दिनों तक पति को सोच में डूबे देखा तो जानकी देवी की पूछने पर बता ही दिया “सुरेन्द्र की आदतों के कारण उसका तिलक किया नहीं जा सकता | मदन वैसे तैयार नहीं | कहीं ऐसा न हो हमारे बाद हमारे जीवन भर की कमाई – हमारी मान प्रतिष्ठा सब कुछ मिट्टी हो जाए…”

“आप यों दुखी न हों | एक बार फिर से मदन से बात तो कीजिए…” और महन्त जी ने मदन को बुला भेजा | सारी बात उसे विस्तार से समझाई गई | पर उसने साफ़ बोल दिया “पिताजी आप तो हमेशा से जानते हैं कि इस सबमें मेरी कोई दिलचस्पी नहीं है | मुझे अच्छा नहीं लगता ये सब | आप सुरेन्द्र को ही उत्तराधिकारी क्यों नहीं घोषित कर देते ? मैं जो ये काम करता हूँ उसमें इतना कमा लेता हूँ अपना और अगर शादी की तो पत्नी का भी गुज़ारा आराम से कर लूँगा |”

“शादी के बाद…? पर भई शादी तो तभी करोगे न जब कोई लड़की मिलेगी ? लड़की तो अभी हमने ढूँढी नहीं | फिर शादी की बात कहाँ से आ गई ? भई वाह जानकी देवी जी आपका ये सुपुत्र तो दिन में भी सपने देखता है |” व्यंग्य से महन्त जी बोले |

“आप चिन्ता क्यों करते हैं जी…” मुस्कुराती हुई जानकी देवी बोलीं “देखना मेरे मदन को ऐसी लड़की मिलेगी जिसके आगे स्वर्ग की अप्सराओं की सुन्दरता भी फीकी पड़ जाएगी | मेरी मान बेटा, इस फ़ोटोग्राफ़ी वोटोग्राफी में कुछ नहीं रखा, गद्दी संभाल ले, सारी उमर राज करेगा…”

“तुम्हारी माँ ठीक कहती है…” कुछ सोचते हुए महन्त जी बोले “कुछ दिनों के लिए देख लो, मन लगे तो ठीक – वरना फिर कभी हम कुछ नहीं कहेंगे | और हाँ, पण्डित श्रीकान्त जी की बेटी से तुम्हारा विवाह हमने पक्का कर दिया है | सुन्दर और सुशील लड़की है | शादी करो, घर का काम संभालो और सुख से रहो | हम तो बस हर माँ बाप की तरह अपने बच्चों को सुखी देखना चाहते हैं |”

“नहीं पिताजी…” विनम्र भाव से मदन बोला “आप मुझे तो इस सबसे आज़ाद ही कर दीजिये | आपको याद होगा आपने मुझे अपने कुरुक्षेत्र वाले आश्रम में एक बार भेजा था देखने समझने के लिए | पर क्या हुआ वहाँ ? वहाँ सबने मुझे सुरेन्द्र के जैसा ही समझ शराब और लड़कियाँ भेजने की कोशिश की | जब मैंने उस सबके लिए मना किया तब पता है क्या जवाब मिला ? छोटे भैया को सब पसन्द है तो मुझे क्यों नहीं ? नहीं पिताजी नहीं… ये सब नहीं चाहिए मुझे… सुरेन्द्र को सौंप दीजिये… वैसे भी धर्मशास्त्र मैंने पढ़े तो हैं पर मुझे इस सब की ज़रा भी समझ नहीं | सुरेन्द्र ये सब जानता है, उसी का तिलक कर दीजिये पिताजी…”

“हुम्… तो ये गुल खिला रहे हैं सुरेन्द्र जी… अच्छा किया तुमने हमें बता दिया, बात करेंगे सुरेन्द्र से…” कुछ सोचते हुए महन्त जी बोले “चलो ठीक है, तुम्हारे कहने से अगर हम गद्दी की बात जाने भी दें तो उस लड़की का क्या होगा जिसके साथ हमने तुम्हारा विवाह तय किया है ? विवाह तो तुम्हें करना ही होगा न… या वहाँ भी तुम्हारी जगह सुरेन्द्र को ही भेज दें…? घर की इतनी तो लाज रख लोगे न…?”

“मैं आपसे विनती करता हूँ पिताजी, मुझे मेरे हाल पर छोड़ दीजिये…” हाथ जोड़ कर मदन बोला “उस लड़की के साथ सच में सुरेन्द्र का ही विवाह कर दीजिये… मैं अभी मानसिक रूप से इस स्थिति में नहीं हूँ…”

अब तक महन्त जी काफ़ी क्रोध में आ चुके थे | बोले “वाह जानकी देवी जी वाह… क्या हल निकाला है आपके इस लाडले ने परिवार की मान मर्यादा बनाए रखने का… कह दीजिये इसे अभी हमारी आँखों के सामने से दूर चला जाए…”

मदन बाहर चला गया |

कुछ दिनों के बाद उत्तराधिकारी के रूप में सुरेन्द्र का तिलक कर दिया गया |
